Find your seat on the board

Four ways to ride with us, all on the same board the guides set every evening for the morning. Prices are ranges because the week, the group size, and the flying decide the number. Open a seat to see the day it buys, what comes with it, and what does not.

SeatPrice band
Day catOne seat, one full day, lunch in the cab.$700 to $850 a day

What this seat's day looks like

You meet the 5:45 board, ride out to the machine, and spend the whole day in one group chasing the good snow the guides picked that morning. Lunch is hot in the cab between laps. Runs end at the creek road for pickup, and you are back for the evening radio check.

Included

  • A full guided day on the tenure
  • Cat transport and hot lunch
  • Avalanche gear: transceiver, shovel, probe
  • Morning safety briefing and beacon check

Not included

  • Lodging
  • Ski or board rental
  • Powder skis (ask if you want a set)
Three-day catThree days, two nights at the lodge, every meal.$2,450 to $2,950 all in

What this seat's day looks like

The full arc: three guided cat days, two nights in the lodge, and every meal at the long table. You settle into a group, the guides learn what you ski, and the terrain opens across the days as the basin refills. This is the one most people book, and the one we would book ourselves.

Included

  • Three full guided cat days
  • Two nights lodging, all meals
  • Avalanche gear and the drying room
  • The whole evening: wax bench, radio check, early lights

Not included

  • Travel to Muleshoe
  • Rentals
  • The heli add-on (a separate day)
Heli add-onThe A-Star opens the high work when it is right.$1,150 to $1,400 a day

What this seat's day looks like

On a clear, settled day, the A-Star adds the high alpine the cat cannot reach: longer lines off the Horn, bigger vertical, terrain that only opens when the weather says yes. It rides on top of a cat booking, and Marta flies it only when the day earns it. If the weather turns, the day stays on the cat and you are not charged for the flying.

Included

  • A flying day added to your cat booking
  • High-alpine terrain when conditions allow
  • Pilot and guide on every flight
  • The same gear and safety flow as a cat day

Not included

  • A standalone booking (it rides on a cat day)
  • Any guarantee of flying weather
Private charterThe whole machine, your group, your pace. From $9,800 a day

What this seat's day looks like

One cat, one guide, your group and no one else on the seats. You set the pace, the guide sets the terrain, and the day bends to what your group wants: mellow and playful, or every metre of vertical the snow will give. Best for a group that already skis together and wants the board to itself.

Included

  • A cat and lead guide for your group alone
  • The day shaped to your group's pace
  • Gear, lunch, and the full safety flow
  • Lodging and meals arranged on request

Not included

  • Per-seat pricing (this is the whole machine)
  • The A-Star (add it as a flying day)

06:00 · a day on the board

One cat day, start to finish

Whatever seat you take, the shape of the day is the same. The only thing that moves is where the guides send you.

  1. 05:45The board. Snow report, weather, the day's plan, and who rides which cat.
  2. 06:30Beacon check, gear sorted, coffee finished. Groups load the machine.
  3. 07:15First lap. The guides read the snow and pick the line for the day.
  4. 12:00Hot lunch in the cab, laps continuing on either side of it.
  5. 15:30Last lap down to the creek road. The sweep gathers the group.
  6. 16:15Pickup at the road, gear to the drying room, kettle on at the lodge.
  7. 17:42Radio check: all groups down, sweep clear. See everyone at 5:45.

How to read the board

What the price band means

The low end of every band is a full-week booking, a fuller group, and a cat-only day. The high end is a short stay, a smaller group, or a day the A-Star flies. We tell you where in the band you land before you put anything down. No number is ever a surprise at the road.

Deposit and cancellation, in plain language

  • A deposit of a quarter of the total holds your seats. The balance is due four weeks before you arrive.
  • Cancel more than eight weeks out and the deposit moves to another week or another winter, your choice.
  • Inside eight weeks we hold the deposit unless we can fill the seats, and we will try hard to fill them.
  • If we cannot run for our own reasons, weather beyond a normal day or the machine down, you are not charged for the days we do not deliver.

Who this is for

You do not need to be an expert, but you do need to be a comfortable off-piste skier or rider who can link turns in soft snow for a full day and get themselves down variable terrain without stopping every few turns. The cat does the climbing; your legs do the rest. If you are honest with us about where you are, the guides put you in the right group and everyone has a better day for it. If you are not sure, call and tell us what you ski. We would rather talk it through than guess.
